Will this be Open Source?

The technology ORY Sites is based on is available as Open Source at github.com/ory/editor. We might even release ORY Sites under an open source license.

Can I use the rich content technology without ORY Sites?

Yes, check out the open source ORY Editor.

Some pages, images, or links are broken

First, make sure that you avoid absolute paths in links, images, or urls. Instead of /images/mountain.jpg do images/mountain.jpg.

When setting up pages in directories, make sure to set the website url in the project settings:

If your website is available at https://arekkas.github.io/sites-demo/ then your website url should be the same: https://arekkas.github.io/sites-demo/ - make sure to append the slash

Is this search engine optimized?

Yes, you get search engine optimization out of the box. For example, content is prerendered for easy indexing from search engine crawlers. Additionally, we have long experience in SEO and follow best practices established over years.

Known Issues

The project window lags on first load

We are aware of this issue and are working on resolving it. Is is caused by electron which runs on top of node. Node does not provide multi-threading causing CPU-intense tasks to slow down the whole application.

Exporting the project causes lags

Issues on mobile

Some of our themes have minor issues on mobile devices. We are working hard to address those asap.
